Expression vs Communication

I’ve been trying to explain the difference between what people often think in their heads about communication versus it’s deeper meaning.

Communication is not expression. That’s merely speaking, writing, sending.

Communication involves mutual subservience to a notion, choosing to assent to some direction, and activating a choice that moves to tangible activity.

To mistake communication for expression is to forever be a victim, helplessly wondering if your expressions will work this time.
