iElectrons Numbing

I’m sitting on an airplane cranking out written content. I’m noticing some other people with iPads and things just kind of switching screens around not really doing anything. 

They’re bored. They’re numb. 

We taught people they shouldn’t be creative unless it’s “useful” at creating money. We taught people they’re only for “use,” like objects not people. 

And so when we have 3 hours of disconnected time, we’re not comfortable being with ourselves. And we’re not comfortable to create because that might mean we are inherently worth something. 

But we learn that these screens are the best escape from the numbing drudgery of life. Maybe the next screen has something interesting. ::swipe::
